Somatic Peer Consultation
Bring your lunch, bring your questions, come as you are

Doing somatic work can sometimes feel like working in your own little corner of the world. Our approaches and training backgrounds may differ, but there is so much we can learn from one another.

At Somatic Collaborative, we host a somatic peer consultation group every four weeks on Thursdays. It's an informal gathering for somatic practitioners to connect, share lunch, talk about the work we're doing, and learn from one another.

We spend the first half hour eating lunch and catching up, making room for the relationships and community that sustain our work. From 1–2 PM, we turn toward clinical questions, case consultation, and the broader questions that arise in somatic practice. Sometimes there's a specific case to think through; other times, we follow a shared curiosity about a modality, a therapeutic process, or something we've been noticing in our work.

This isn't about having all the answers. It's about having people to think alongside—people who understand the particular joys, questions, and complexities of working with the body and embodied experience.
